Actress: CONNIE NELSON

Known for: THE HARD ROAD

Project: THE HARD ROAD

Year: 1970

Genre: Exploitation Cinema

Character: Pamela Banner

Traits: She’s a teenager who drops out of high school, pregnant, gives up her baby for adoption, meets a musician and is sucked into a downward spiral of drugs and partying.

Nag Ratings: 2… She’s nice, but makes all the wrong decisions.

The Best Part: When she wakes up in bed, in her nighty.

You Missed: Despite what IMDB says, she’s not the actress from LATE BLOOMERS.

Media: GARY KENT co-starred with Connie in Gary Graver’s THE HARD ROAD and appeared with her in Al Adamson’s FRANKENSTEIN VS. DRACULA: “Connie was Gray Graver’s girlfriend at the time of the making of the film. She was friendly, but also a bit anxious, as it was her first film I believe, and here she was playing a lead. In a later movie for Al Adamson, I am making out with Connie on a beach blanket just before being beheaded by Lon Chaney.”
