Diane Lane Rumbles

d0

Actress: DIANE LANE

Known for: THE OUTSIDERS

Project: RUMBLE FISH

Year: 1983

Genre: Motion Picture

Character: Patty

Traits: Suburban Catholic girl with a bratty little sister who dates rebellious Rusty James (Matt Dillon) and doesn’t want him to be a bad boy, even though that’s what attracts her in the first place.

Nag Ratings: 5… She is, at first, nice and sexy and sweet and naive but then dumps Rusty for the cocky jerk Smokey, played by the director’s nephew, Nicholas Cage.

The Best Part: When Diane takes off her pants… of course you don’t see anything but her lovely legs but that’s a nice thing.

You Missed: Diane appeared in THE OUTSIDERS directed by Francis Ford Coppola a year before and a year later would co-star in another Coppola film, THE COTTON CLUB… So in CLUB she appears with Cage again and she’s with Matt Dillon in both THE OUTSIDERS, RUMBLE FISH and then THE BIG TOWN a few years later.
