Morgan Brittany on The Andy Griffith Show

Actress: MORGAN BRITTANY Known for: DALLAS Project: THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW Year: 1967 Episode: Opie’s First Love Genre: Family Situation Comedy Character: Mary Alice Carter Traits: All kids growing up on family shows have their first love, and Opie, played by Ron Howard in the last season of ANDY GRIFFITH, falls for Morgan Brittany’s blue-eyed beauty, Mary: she accepts his invitation to a house party but then decides to go with a more popular guy, who fixes his hair while dancing to horrendous psychedelic music. Nag Rating: 7… She’s a double-crosser, but winds up with good intentions i.e Opie’s her second and final option, and goes with it. Best Part: Seeing Morgan, then cast as Suzanne Cupito, doing okay after being attacked by THE BIRDS in 1964. You Missed: Actually, Morgan was in tons of TV and some movies from the 60’s all the way to the new millennium… And she played the evil woman who killed Bobby Ewing on DALLAS before a shower cleanses Patrick Duffy back to life. Media: Morgan’s Facebook Fan Page.
