Jessica Nelson singled-out in Single Bars, Single Women

Jessica Nelson with Keith Gordon in Single Bars, Single Women

Actress: Jessica Nelson Project: SINGLE BARS, SINGLE WOMEN Year: 1984 Genre: Ensemble Exploitation Character: Sonia Traits: Sonia is too good to be true, especially for nerdy Keith Gordon, who she clings herself to right off the bat at a single’s bar where striking-out is usually pretty usual. NAG RATING: 4 when she flies off the handle, and yet, it’s deserved because she deserves much better.  BEST PART: Seeing this cute actress, who looks like a young Linda Hamilton. Strange she eventually says she’s not that pretty when, in fact, she’s the hottest girl in the entire made-for-TV movie. YOU MISSED: The fact she’s dumped by Keith Gordon, with the help of brother Tony Danza, is mind-blowing, but the point is that she’s too clingy, too fast: which, in reality, is no problem for men… But her acting is fantastic as she breaks down in her last scene. And before and after appeared in a mixed bagful of television shows, from FAMILY to HUNTER. MEDIA: Cult Film Freak Review.
